Pain!
Pain itself is important because it alerts our body to a complication. Identification of pain, time of onset and its characteristics help in the clinical diagnosis of the disease. If we do not treat pain, our brain will force us to follow up by intensifying the pain or spreading it to other parts of the body. If the pain is not treated for more than four months, it becomes a chronic pain that takes longer to heal provided that no other injuries have occurred by then. Pain tolerance is not a good treatment and sometimes causes high blood pressure and heart disease. From this moment forward, think about the treatment of your pain and take us with you on this journey.

The role of Podiatry
Your feet alone are a reflection of your whole body. A podiatrist can detect systemic diseases in your body by observing and examining your skin, nails, muscles, foot arteries, and nerve network. Observing and measuring the movements of the fingers and joints also add to our biomechanical information about the body and help treat some foot pain. A podiatrist can locate the origin of the pain by touching the various parts of feet, ankles, or calves. These kinds of clinical investigations help us to find out the reason and as a result of that, we can find the best available treatment of foot and ankle diseases. There is currently a great variety of treatments for any complication in the legs, the best of which is based on scientific evidence applied by podiatrists.

What's next?
Ever since the advent of podiatry science in the United States in the early 20th century, we have witnessed significant advances in the diagnosis and treatment of foot-related diseases. In fact, advanced imaging devices such as MRI and CT scans and ultrasound have aided podiatrists in the best clinical diagnoses. Emerging 3D scanners and printers also help to make orthotics, shoe insoles more accurately besides modern shoes to relieve the pain of tired feet. This science seems to study bodily injuries in various fields, not only from childhood to old age but also keeping an eye on sedentary people, athletes or treating certain lower limb diseases. Injuries to lower limbs are inevitable at any age, time or place, but podiatrists can help to prevent, manage or treat conditions.
